On our recent visit to California, I saw this wall hanging in a home we visited. I understand much better at this stage in my life that happiness really is a choice. We can choose to be happy. Our happiness is not dependent on the circumstances of the day or on the choices made by those around us. It is a mindset and a gift from God that is more fully appreciated as we “live in the present moment” and as we “enjoy our daily walk through life.” This, in addition to our efforts to put ourselves in line with the will of God, will bring us happiness.
