Does this one border on rediculous? Or is it a healthy expression of “living in the moment”? In the past I would have shunned the idea. Now, I see this differently. I am glad someone can find enough joy through the daily grind of life to “dress up” a favorite car.
Have you ever used it? It was a life saver last Friday, allowing Jilly to go straight to the tire store rather than going through the hastle of changing the tire first. And why am I grateful? I too was spared from changing the tire in the mid-summer heat of Las Vegas.
We can learn a lot from this happy three year old. His young live has taken him through serious health related battles that will stay with him. His life is “more limited” than that of other three year olds. He can’t run. He can’t even walk. He has undergone countless surgeries and procedures. But this young man is happy. He finds joy in the simplest of pleasures. He loves balls. He loves cars. That all of us could focus on the things we have and not on those that we lack.
I think many of us have guardian angels, either in the form of mortal helpers or visitors from the other side of the veil. My Latin angel has cared for me and my family in many circumstances and over many years. Tonight I give thanks for all of her kindness and service and love. She delivered her lastest gift on this beautiful plate (I still have to return it). Thank you. Thank you.
I never get tired of clouds. They are a refreshing glimpse of nature and of the heavens. I loved this cloud pattern the other day, viewed from Henderson, with the Las Vegas Strip visible below.
