God’s beautiful handywork is everywhere. It is here in the desert for us to appreciate. And it is a special treat to see His creations in other parts of this small earth. I have several images to post to show my appreciation for the wonders to the northwest, outside the continnental 48.
I admire those who can be their own person. It is so easy to follow the crowd and to base value decisions on what the majority is doing or thinking. It can be lonely to do what is right, when it flies in the face of “conventional wisdom”. May we all have such courage.
The western part of the United States is filled with breathtaking vistas. I am thankful I can experience a small portion of these wonders. Dead Horse Point is one of these, providing a dramatic overlook of the Colorado River and Canyonlands National Park.
The nation of Ghana is said to be the happiest of the countries in Africa. What makes the people of Ghana happy? Most of them do not have any of the “big three”- power, position, or wealth. Yet, we, in the most industrialized countries of the world, often seek after the “big three”, searching for happiness. True happiness has a different source. It comes through honest work, service to others, and being at peace with God and mankind. I am grateful to be in the presence of happy people. They uplift me.
I enjoy seeing beautiful design. This is an item that I haven’t seen very often. Just for fun, I throw this one out to you with just a smidge of an image. Do you know what it is?
