One of the principles that guides photographers is “follow the light”. In other words, find interesting light first, and then you will know what your subject should be. This is what I did on a recent garden tour- interesting splotches of light lead me to my subjects. I am impressed with the important spiritual metaphor. In life we must move toward that which illuminates, and is bright and uplifting. Then we will find those things that are worthy of our attention, energy and time.
